Welcome Alyssa K. Daymon, M.P.A.S., PA-C
Dr. Erik G. Palmer and Desert Family Medical Center proudly announces that Alyssa K. Daymon, M.P.A.S., PA-C has joined this medical practice effective October 1, 2011. Mrs. Daymon earned her M.P.A.S. (Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies) from Loma Linda University, School of Allied Health Science. She holds a B.S. (Bachelor of Science) in Allied Health and Advanced Patient Care from Grand Canyon University. Born in Fairbanks, Alaska and raised in Fresno, California, she relocated to the Desert Region in 2004. Previous to pursuing a career as a Certified Physician Assistant, Alyssa was a Physical Therapist Assistant. She is certified by The Physician Assistant Committee in the State of California, in order to practice as a physician assistant. This certification requires a rigorous examination and on-going continuing medical education in order to maintain licensure. Mrs. Daymon believes that quality patient care is derived through acknowledging each patient as a unique individual; she exercises this with patience, incredible listening skills and compassion for each patient she sees at Desert Family Medical Center.
